Peaceful dissent met with violent opposition last night in Kentucky. I think the most fascinatingly disturbing thing about this is: As the Tea Party folks "capture" and physically assault Lauren Valle's peacefully protesting at a public debate, *they* call for the cops?! It's like a bunch of 2nd Amendment/Fox crazed tea partiers channeling a Bizzaro version of Gomer Pyle making a "citizens arrest."
Update: The man who stomped on Lauren Valle's head is Tim Profitt, who was (until he wasfired resigned today) the Bourbon County Rand Paul Campaign Coordinator. He also donated $1,900 to the Paul campaign.
