This video on talking to a tea partier is about the most comprehensive dissection of Tea Party talking points I've seen. Life is not Wikipedia. There are objective facts. Just because you repeat something a lot doesn't make it true. Best line: “I’m sorry. But that is not true. Words have actual meanings.”

The Tea Party, via groups like American Majority, actually train people to give “liberal” books 1-star reviews on Amazon.com. Conversely, conservative books 5-stars. "That's how you control the on-line dialogue...." So claims Austin James of American Majority.

The footage was shot at the 2009 American Liberty Tour, run by a group of libertarian groups tied to real-estate mogul and Koch associate Howie Rich.

He seems so proud that he doesn't read 80% of the books he rates and that he eliminates Sicko from his Netflix queue. Because exposure to another opinion or viewpoint is not what they want to happen. No dialogue. No civility, online or off. Just bullying their agenda through, unopposed.
